The Iisakki Jussi Farmhouse and Kosolanmäki granary exhibition space
The Iisakki Jussi farmhouse is a peasant museum located in Kosolanmäki, Kauhava. The building is a fine example of Southern Ostrobothnian design from the end of the 19th century. The interior is decorated with original furniture. The master of the farm also transported prisoners to Vaasa. Before conveying them to their ultimate destination, he kept the prisoners in his house. The central courtyard of the Iisakki Jussi farm includes the main building and seven other structures used in the day-to-day life of the farm.
The parish granary is located in Kosolanmäki, Kauhava. The granary is from the 1850s and has retained its original design. It is now a multipurpose exhibition and event space. The space is well suited for organizing exhibitions of extensive and quite large works. The Kauhava-Seura rymaintains the museums.
