Kauhava has four beautiful and very different churches. In 2009, a parish union was implemented, where the Kauhava regional parish and the chapel congregations of Alahärmä, Kortesjärvi and Ylihärmä were formed. The Kauhava regional parish is responsible for the parish activities in the Kauhava area.
