Horse-drawn hearses

In February 1933, 200 marks were donated from the treasury of the women's section of the Alakylä country club for the purchase of hearses. At the expense of the countrymen's club and the women's division, horse-drawn hearses have been purchased, which were made by hand in Alavus. The manufacturer is Etelä-Pohjanmaan Ajokalukouluyhdistys ry.

The wagons were restored in a course at Järvilaukeuden kansalaisopisto in 2018 and they got their rightful place in the display case built in Iisakki Järvenpää's yard. In the background of the display case, you can see the Kauhava church and the heroes' burial ground, where the last carriage journey ended of many young war-hero.

Hearses can be seen all year round.
